Hi, I’m Dirk.
I’m 56 and I don’t know how life works. I just follow my north star.
I fall down, get up, keep going.
I like forest in autumn. Barefoot at the sea. Warm bread and butter.
A life out of a 7-kilo pack. Currently in Vietnam.
Every morning I wake up to a blank page.
Most of the day I watch, I write, I express what wants to come out. I try not to get in the way of my creative life and to let it run through me as freely as I can. I’m practicing not making life more complicated than it is.
I write stories about an ordinary life, where chocolate and chili dance together.
The longer story starts here: The Letter.
